Lil & Bow offers personalised, caring, professional and experienced Dog Walking as well as Private Dog Training with a Qualified Dog Trainer with full Public Liability Insurance, National Police Check and Dog First Aid certificate ensuring safety, knowledgeable and friendly service with of course four legged fun! We service Fitzroy, North Fitzroy, Clifton Hill, Fairfield, Alphington, Northcote, Ivanhoe, Thornbury & Preston.

Walks with our Dog Walkers are at varying locations including but not limited to parks, reserves, walking trails, bustling main streets and neighbourhoods with groups up to 5 dogs tailored to breed, energy levels and your requirements.

Qualified with a Certificate III in Dog Behaviour & Training from the National Dog Trainers Federation ensures the best is at hand to help you with your dog. Through consistency, timing, rewards and persistence any dog can learn with a committed and holistic approach to each individual. 

Dog walking

We offer dog walks tailored to each dog's specific needs with energy levels and interests met to maximise the walk duration of 45 minutes. When you contact us we schedule a time to meet you and your dog and discuss your needs, the needs of your dog and our Confidential Pet Profile to ensure we have all the information we need before we arrange our first walk. This may also include a short trial walk to create a bond and assess on lead behaviour if required. Pet's are transported in the security and comfort of a vehicle with safety restraints, once all dog's are collected and arrived at the final destination the walks begin. We walk morning, lunchtime and afternoon timeslots with our Operating Hours between 9.30am and 4.30pm

CHECK IN VISIT

If you would like an extra visit to check in on your dog during a longer day, to replace a walk on a day of extreme heat, or visit your dog recovering from illness or injury we can ensure adequate cuddles & pats, toilet break, play and meal or treats given at an arranged time during our Operating Hours between 9.30am and 4.30pm. All food, toys, treats and equipment must be provided

It's not just dog's we love we also love cats! If you are looking for personalised one on one training in your home or your local parks and frequented areas to help with your new puppy, newly acquired dog, basic training or need to tackle a behaviour problem Carina can help with frequent attendance to seminars and workshops whilst also reading articles and books to keep up to date with the latest training techniques.

All training sessions are followed by an emailed Training Brief that outlines points covered during session to ensure success

Basic obedience

Three phases of learning include

1.Teaching Phase - to teach action required with rewards

2. Training Phase - to introduce command (verbal or hand signal) and begin phasing out rewards

3. Proofing Phase - to cement learning under distraction and with infrequent rewards
